Mission

European-Ukrainian Youth Policy Centre (EUYPC) is an independent, nongovernmental organization founded in 2016 by the German-Polish-Ukrainian Society in Ukraine with the purpose to assist and protect legal interests and needs of young citizens in Ukraine.

Mission

To contribute to development and implementation of youth policy in Ukraine in its approximation to the European integration.

Objectives

The main objective of the Centre is to support the democratic platform and changes for young generations, to contribute to the protection of legal social, economic and other interests of young citizens of Ukraine and to provide them with live perspectives in society.

Specific objectives

1. To contribute to the development and implementation of the youth policy in Ukraine.
2. To develop platforms for pilot projects implementation.
3. To promote constructive dialogue with national and local authorities.
4. To assist in establishment of cooperation between Ukraine and other Eastern Partnership countries and the EU in the youth policy area and development of civil society.

Main Activities

Objective 1: To contribute to the development and implementation of the youth policy in Ukraine.

A.1.1  The Centre supports the establishment of an influential expert center and promotes youth  organizations and organizations working in the sphere of youth policy associating with it.

A.1.2  The Centre follows the activities of public authorities and local self-governments in the sphere of national and local youth policy implementation and provides analysis of youth policy in Ukraine.

Objective 2: To develop platforms for pilot projects implementation.

A.2.1  The Centre supports projects that encourage young people to participate in democratic processes and formation of civil society.

A.2.2  The Centre supports projects that assist young people in their transition from education to employment through internship programs, coaching and trainings on entrepreneurship.

A.2.3  The Centre supports international projects aimed at improving youth policy area in Ukraine using international experience.

Objective 3: To promote constructive dialogue with national and local authorities.

A.3.1  The Centre cooperates with public authorities to improve Ukraine’s legislation in youth policy area, and to contribute to its approximation to the legislation of the European Union.

Objective 4: To assist in establishment of cooperation between Ukraine and other Eastern Partnership countries and the EU in the sphere of youth policy and development of civil society.

A.4.1 The Centre assists in establishment and development of contacts between Ukrainian youth organizations and youth activists with youth organization in Poland and Germany, establishment of connections between the Eastern Partnership countries and the EU in the sphere of youth policy and development of civil society, and also with national youth organizations of other countries.

A.4.2  The Centre organizes social and educational events, conferences, lectures, workshops, roundtables, forums, cultural and other public events with the purpose to meet the needs and interests of young people.
